“An invitation to soon-to-be-married couples”
At Gainan’s, creating your “Gift Registry” is as simple as making wishes and writing them down. Choose whatever appeals to you, from table settings to home accessories. There are really no rules.

This website includes information about basic registry items. The best way to begin your gift registry is to visit our downtown location and a sales associate will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Some of our selection is seasonal and limited to quantity on hand, so it is best to register no more than two to three months before your event if at all possible. Also keep in touch with us to assure there are plenty of items left for your guests to choose from.

We’ve also included a few gift ideas to say thank you to your wedding party.

Why Choose Gainan’s Gift Registry?
  • We provide one on one service to your guests as they select your gifts.
  • We will gift wrap and deliver your gifts to your door.
  • To make it easy for out-of-town guests or those who cannot attend your wedding, we have a toll-free number (1-800-755-7576) for them to contact any one of our sales associates for assistance in selecting a gift. We will gift wrap and deliver or ship their selection to you.
  • As a thank you from Gainan’s, two weeks after your wedding, you will receive a gift certificate that represents 10% of the total purchases on your registry.

Creative Ideas for Wedding & Reception Flowers

At the Ceremony:
  • Adorn the ceremony entrance with flower filled urns; decorate the doors with wedding bows and floral sprays.
  •  Use candlelight at different levels to add dimension to design Candelabra and aisle lights available for rent.
  •  Decorate the chairs or pews for the families of the bride and groom, use a single rose to mark the seats of both the groom’s and bride’s mothers.

At the Reception/Celebration:

  • Garland the center of the head table with flowers and foliage.
  • Create a more lavish buffet table display with floral centerpiece pods and votive candles.
  • Have coordinating centerpieces at guest tables with votive or floating candles to add special ambiance to the celebration.
  • Float large fragrant flowers such as open roses or gardenias in crystal containers with votives at guest tables.

1. Cascade
Elegant and timeless, the cascade bouquet is often the showpiece of the formal wedding costume. Blooms and greenery spill gracefully from the bride’s hands.

2. Crescent
A graceful arch is the hallmark of this stylized bouquet. A contemporary alternative to cascade bouquet, flowers emanate from the center blossom and trail at each side.

3. Handtied
Sophisticated or garden inspired, this bouquet is perfect for a less formal affair or outdoor wedding. The show of natural stems lends an air of beautiful simplicity.

4. Contemporary/Artistic
For the bride who wants to make a statement, these bouquets are perfect for a sophisticated, cosmopolitan style wedding. Inspired by the unconventional, these contemporary and artistic bouquets can be very structured or free form in style.

5. Nosegay
A romantic, traditional bouquet that for centuries has enjoyed popularity. The nosegay can vary in sophistication and is therefore perfect for almost any bride.

6. Presentation
This bouquet of long stemmed flowers evokes an aura of pageantry and regality. Elegant blooms are cradled in the bride’s arms as she makes her debut.

Similar but smaller versions of these bouquets work equally well for the bridal party. However, you might want to add more color if you’re planning an all white bouquet. Keeping the styles similar helps to harmonize the wedding party.

The boutonniere for the groom usually is a significant flower from the bride’s bouquet while the goomsmen’s boutonnieres pair with the bride’s maids bouquets.
